- Improving range of motion/joint mobility
- Improving mobility & physical activity
- Improving the quality of life and maintaining functional independence
- Strengthening through individualized exercise programs
- Preventing injury/re-injury
- Educating patients on coping strategies pertaining to injury/condition

Chiropractors are highly educated and extensively trained to assess, diagnosis, treat and prevent conditions/disorders of the spine, joints, muscle and nervous systems.

The word “chiropractic” comes from ancient Greek and means “done by hand.”

Chiropractors are specialists in the adjustment of the spinal vertebrae and other joints. The adjustment helps relieve pain and restore normal functioning to the spine, joints and supporting structures of the body therefore you can get back to optimally performing your activities of daily living. Chiropractors are also trained to prescribe therapeutic exercise, provide nutritional counselling, and recommend rehabilitation and injury prevention strategies.

Many patients seek chiropractic treatment for many reasons whether they be for acute or chronic issues and wellness care. It has a role to play in both symptomatic and non-symptomatic conditions. Chiropractic care can help you maintain healthy spine and joint function even if you are not experiencing pain.

Sport Specific FST:
Can provide sport specific stretching that caters to the movement of your sport which may help improve flexibility, mobility and overall athletic performance. By addressing restrictions in the fascia, athletes may experience improved functional movement and a reduced risk of injury.

She was very passionate about active rehab and loved to travel so she ventured abroad to continue her education. She completed her MSc in Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Sciences in 2018 from Edinburgh, Scotland at Queen Margaret University.

Whether it’s related to sports, occupation, or lifestyle, he’ll work with you in creating an optimal treatment plan that ensures your goals are being achieved and the source of your pain or functional limitations are dealt with effectively.

After graduating with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy degree at Queen’s University, John has eagerly continued to expand his wealth of knowledge and skills to ensure his practices are using the latest evidence. He has taken post-graduate courses in acupuncture and dry needling, soft tissue release, and advanced shoulder rehabilitation. John has also completed level 3 of the Advanced Integrated Musculoskeletal (AIM) physiotherapy program.

He earned his Master of Rehabilitation in Physical Therapy from Queen’s University in 2013 and his Bachelors of Physical Education and Health from the University of Toronto in 2010. He has years of physiotherapy experience working at Grandview Children’s Centre. Chris provides physiotherapy services for both adult and paediatric populations. He offers techniques for soft tissue release and is experienced in treating orthopaedic, neurological, and developmental conditions for children and adults. Chris also practices cupping and is trained in assessing and treating persistent post concussion symptoms. Chris provides a client- and family-centered approach to therapy. Dr. Teesha Geevarghese has been a Chiropractor since 2003. Teesha is a member of the Ontario Chiropractic Association, Canadian Chiropractic Association, and the College of Chiropractors of Ontario in good standing. She also holds an Advanced Proficiency Rating in the Activator Methods Technique. It is a low force instrument adjusting technique that is especially useful with arthritic patients, elderly patients and infants, of which she has experience treating.

Her mantra in treating patients is that she uses various techniques to treat including diversified adjusting, various forms of modalities, soft tissue techniques and acupuncture. Dr. Geevarghese strives for her patients to reach their individual health goals and feels that there are many pieces that help create the picture of optimum health. Kelly is a Physiotherapist who graduated with her Masters of Science in Physiotherapy from Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh, Scotland.
